NAR 2021 Profile of Home Staging
The National Association of Realtors recently released their Profile of Home Staging for 2021. Highlights include:
- 82% of buyers’ agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home.
- The most common rooms that were staged included the living
room (90%), kitchen (80%), master bedroom (78%), and the dining room (69%). This is in line with the 3 rooms found to be very important for buyers.
- The most common home improvement items agents
recommended to sellers were decluttering the home
(93%, entire home cleaning (85%),
removing pets during showings (81%), and
improving curb appeal (78%).
